Amy Patricia Meade creates An A-List for Murder Ep. 36 of My Bookcase Slays

Amy Patricia Meade’s new series dishes up a slice of Golden Age mystery layered with Golden Age Hollywood glamour and drama. The cherry on top? Each book features behind-the-scenes subplots centered around the production of Alfred Hitchcock’s films!  The result is a deliciously twisty story packed with juicy gossip and intrigue! Meade shares how her grandfather inspired her to write this series, and she educates me about the important role script supervisors played in movie production. In An A-List for Murder, amateur sleuth Evelyn Galloway digs through the salacious headlines about an aspiring young actress’s death and unearths a more sinister plot with ties beyond the studio lots. Bonus: Meade tells me anecdotes from her research into Hitchcock, Hollywood, and special effects—including a great story about the legendary Paul Newman!
